Contract extended early

VNG Handel & Vertrieb GmbH

Kerstin Schultheiß remains Managing Director of VNG Handel & Vertrieb GmbH

In view of the positive development in the recent past, VNG Handel & Vertrieb GmbH (VNG H&V) in Leipzig is focusing on consistency in terms of personnel: The contract with Managing Director Kerstin Schultheiß was extended early by another five years until 2026. The law graduate has formed the company’s management duo together with Konstantin von Oldenburg since the spin-off of the trading and sales business of VNG AG, headquartered in Leipzig, into the independent entity VNG H&V in 2018.

“In her role, Kerstin Schultheiß has been instrumental in keeping VNG H&V on track for success despite a challenging market environment. Given that the results have steadily improved and the division is now reliably making positive contributions to the overall result again, the extension of the contract was only logical,” explained VNG CEO Ulf Heitmüller. “We are delighted to be able to continue this success story together with her.”

Schultheiß, who has held various positions in the VNG Group since 1995, said: “I appreciate the confidence this expresses in me and our entire team. At the same time, I also see it as a personal motivation to continue the positive development of our Group division. I look forward to the challenges in the changing energy market and continuing to work with our customers and with my fantastic colleagues.”

As an independent subsidiary, VNG H&V has been responsible for the VNG Group’s wholesale business since 2018, after the trading and sales division was separated for regulatory reasons. The company employs 190 people at its site in Leipzig and other national and international sales offices.
